  This hands-on session will provide an overview of Ovid’s powerful features for searching MEDLINE. Learn to develop a search strategy, use Medical Subject Headings, limit your search, and use Ovid’s other features to retrieve relevant and comprehensive results. Access to full-text articles and how to display and print search results will also be covered. Time will be provided for hands-on practice of skills learned in class.

  RefWorks is a Web-based bibliographic management software tool designed to help you manage citation information. This hands-on class will cover exporting references into folders from online databases such as Ovid MEDLINE and PubMed. The class will also cover manually adding citations, citing citations in your paper, and creating a bibliography from your references.
