- Oxford English Dictionary, 2nd Ed. –Contains the entire text of the 22-volume Oxford English Dictionary, second edition. Has definitions for most of the words in the English language but also information on their origins and quotations showing their range of meanings from the time they entered the language to the present.
- Oxford English Dictionary, 3rd Ed. –The OED contains over a half million words from the entire English-speaking world. Entries include over 2.5 million quotations, variant spellings, and pronunciation. Easy to use but offers less extensive search capabilities than the 2nd online edition. Updated quarterly.
