Winner of the 2003 Waldo Gifford Leland Award!
The Claude Moore Health Sciences Library of the University of Virginia Health System opened the new Walter Reed Web Site created with funding assistance from a prestigious IMLS National Leadership Grant Awarded Library.
Thanks to a $250,041 grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), The Claude Moore Health Sciences Library of the University of Virginia Health System digitized, transcribed, arranged, described, preserved, and provided access via the World Wide Web to 5,500 primary documents and related original materials from the extensive Philip S.
