Introduction

Keep up to date with the most current research. You can run a search in Ovid, and be automatically notified via email when new articles are added that satisfy your search criteria.

Step-By-Step

  1. After performing a search in Ovid, click Save Search History at the bottom right of the Search History box.

  2. Name your search, select AutoAlert (SDI) from the drop down menu, then click Save to permanently save the search.

  3. In Delivery Options, enter your email address (e.g. mst3k@virginia.edu).

  4. If desired, customize options such as Scheduling Options, Email Options, Report Type, and Fields.
  5. Click Save. You will now be notified via email when new citations matching your search are added to the database.
