How do I obtain full-text articles while searching Google Scholar?

Answer:

To obtain full-text journal articles licensed by the University of Virginia Libraries (as well as publicly-accessible full-text articles) through Google Scholar, configure Google Scholar to use Find This@UVa Libraries links in your search results.

Step by Step:
  1. Visit Google Scholar at scholar.google.com.
  2. Click on the menu link at the top left:

  3. Click on the cog symbol to go to Settings:

  4. Click on Library links from the left-side menu.

  5. Type virginia in the search box.
  6. Choose University of Virginia Libraries from the list below and click on Save.

  7. Now perform a search in Google Scholar on your topic. From the results screen, note the Find@UVA link to the right of the title. Use this link to go to the full text of the article (if available through library subscriptions).
