A Health System ID badge is needed to gain access to most Health System entrances, including the Jefferson Park Avenue entrance that leads up to the Claude Moore Health Sciences Library.  Patrons with an academic (non-health system) UVA ID can gain access to the Library via the Pinn Hall entrance on Jefferson Park Avenue, which is across the patio from the Library's Jefferson Park Avenue entrance.  Patrons without any type of UVA ID should enter the health system through the University Hospital Lobby. 

Library access is available 24/7 to UVA Health badge holders.  Patrons without a UVA Health badge may use the Library from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, except on some designated holidays, when the service desk is closed.
