How do I set up my Android device for wireless at UVa?

Answer:

It is possible to get your Android-enabled mobile device onto the UVa unsecured wireless network "wahoo." As of right now it is not possible to get on the secure wireless network "cavalier," so you should not use your Android device to do online banking or other secure operations when connected to the UVa network via "wahoo."

Step by Step:
  1. On a computer, use a web browser to visit http://netreg.itc.virginia.edu
  2. Enter your login and password for Netbadge.
  3. Click Register a Device for Network Action.
  4. You will need to find your phone's MAC address:
    • On your Android device, tap the Home button on your phone to return to the desktop.
