How do I receive email updates from Web of Science on new articles on my topic?


Web of Science allows you to automatically receive updates via email on searches you have saved. A personal account is necessary to save searches.

Step by Step: 
  1. Navigate to Web of Science by clicking the link on the Health Sciences Library homepage.
  2. Perform a search with your desired parameters, keywords, and limits, then click Search.
  3. Click the Search History button at the top of the page:
  4. Select the Save History/Create Alert button:
  5. Log in when prompted, or register if you're a first-time user.
  6. In the Save Search History box, name your search, give it a short description, select the appropriate options, then click Save:
  7. You will now receive email updates on your topic as the database is updated.
  8. To edit or delete a saved search, click Saved Searches & Alerts in the My Tools menu:
